Crofarm a Gurugram based start-up built with the prime motive to connect farm to retail has recently entered a new mode of doing business that is (B2B2C) which implies Business to Business then to Consumer.

Following this new form of doing business, the company has launched  Otipy which is a community-based platform to connect or to bring consumers retailers and farmers at one place the purpose is to serve the consumers with fresh products at their doorstep .

The product has been designed in such a way where the company will be delivering the products to reseller and they will be responsible for the last stage of delivery.

Towards this new step , Crofarm has made a praiseworthy job of serving over 50,000 consumers through a network and also involved 500 resellers into it .

The product stands strong during the testing times which lasted for a couple of months has been proved to be great success, not only this unlike other social selling platforms Otipy claims to operate at 35% Gross Margin and has also empowered women who can make 20,000 – 60,000 per month

Varun Khurana CEO Crofarm says that the company aims to target markets where there is an ill-function of the Supply chain . The globally same format gave very good outcomes where the Chinese E-Commerce Platform has championed the model.To give a very vivid idea of what Crofarm actually does it supplies Fruits and Veggies to over 5000+ retailers which is mainly brought into from places like Haryana , UP, Delhi, Gujrat, etc, being a start-up it has also raised $1 million fresh financings, and also Rs. 14.5  crore since its Rs. 3.8 crore bridge early in January.

Coming to competitors Crofarm has Ninja cart which works on the same platform , Crofarm also competes with Walmart and Way cool .
