A new campaign #PromiseofProtection, which showcases commitment to the safety and protection of users, through an understanding of different relationships in our lives was announced by Bike taxi platform, Rapido. According to the company, it is the first-ever video campaign which is launched on social media platforms, highlights various relationships that stand by us, protects us, and safeguard us on a daily basis. The film emphasizes all relationships of love that extends protection and safety. It further goes on to build how Rapido is ensuring the safety and protection of its customers with every ride they take.

The film highlights various safety measures taken by Rapido Captains like, regular temperature checks, sanitization of bike and helmet, masks, hand sanitization before and after every ride – ensuring a safe ride for users who cannot avoid traveling during this pandemic

The installation of Rapido back shields to protect the customers and the Captains and the resumption of services in almost 100 cities was recently announced by the company. Rapido also launched a comprehensive set of safety measures since Unlock 1.0, such as encouraging customers to carry their own helmets to maintain hygiene as opposed to providing full-face helmets before every ride and new policy support where the company provides free cancellation if Captains or customers are without a mask.

Amit Verma, head of marketing, Rapido, said, “With this campaign, we want to tell them that we are committed to their safety and are going beyond the regular measures of using masks, sanitizers and regular checks of Captains, to ensure that their ride with Rapido is safe and their bond with us is protected.”
