Dettol joins with Wipro GE Healthcare to fight COVID-19

Dettol, country’s leading sanitary brand has now partnered with GE Healthcare to implement “Banega Swasth India” a training program for the frontline workers who are battling the corona pandemic.

Health workers from states like Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand are chosen for the program. The program aims to train around 250 workers with the help of Plan India and Jagran Pehel. During these critical times, equal care and attention are not given to every person due to less facilities and resources. Women and children are most vulnerable under these conditions and this initiative focuses on improving their positions during these tough times.

Wipro would implement the training programs while Dettol would offer technical supports. They will be developing the content, curriculum, and assigning experienced faculties to lead the program. The curriculum includes practices on preventing infection, making DIY tools like masks and sanitizers at home, guidelines for safety precautions, mental health, and so on.
