New TVC Launched by Levista Coffee featuring Dance Couple

The celebrated dance couple Kalaimamani Padma Bhushan “Dhananjayans” have recently made their appearance on the screen with a new Tv Commercial launched by Levista Coffee. The brand’s new TVC is all about promoting the concept of “Share the Load” as the pandemic continues to strengthen its grip all over the world and millions of people are inside the threshold of their homes because, either they have lost their jobs or are working from home.

Mr. S. Shriram, Vice President, Levista Coffee said, During Lockdown 2.0, I witnessed and read about a lot of domestic violence and couples shunning workload at home even as many were grappling with work-life imbalance, having emotional and financial stress as well as gender inequality. This prompted us to do a distinct “TVC with a message” that housework must be shared, just like how preparing and serving a great cup of Levista Instant coffee can be shared among family members.

Smt. Shantha and Shri VP Dhananjayan have not just “acted” rather have displayed real love, mutual respect, and affection in a series of TVCs which have gone air from today across Television as well as on Social Media. This TVC is quite unique to many others as the celebrated couple who have earlier featured for a reputed International Telecom company, came forward and agreed to partake in this public service message while also narrating a simplistic yet powerful story”.

According to Shriram, the idea came from his personal experience. “My septuagenarian parents were tested Corona positive during May ‘20 and after a brief stay at the Government, Isolation Facility maintained a strict 28-day Home Quarantine and shared all household work between themselves. Like them, millions of Senior Citizens in India and worldwide who stay independent of their wards have faced the Corona crisis bravely – physically, emotionally and financially. So, I felt that if at their age, if Senior Citizens can manage and “share the load”, why not the youngsters and others do the same.”

“Due to the nationwide lockdown, most people are working from home since April 2020, and sale of coffee & tea has seen a spike during this period. Coffee, being the undisputed and most preferred hot beverage for adults in TN & KA has seen a huge surge in sales despite retail stores being open only partially”, said Shriram while also hoping that with the new normal being accepted worldwide, things will come back to pre-Covid19 times slowly but surely.

The brand is into offering Instant and Filter Coffee Powder and also has made its place in the shelf with internationally & nationally acclaimed brands

“Levista is currently present across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Puducherry through a Distribution Network spanning over 600 Distributors and has added over 6,000 new Retail Stores since the lockdown began, taking the total tally to over 34,000 General Trade stores, popularly known as Kirana shops or Mom & Pop Stores. On Modern Retail, Levista is present across India at select stores through Reliance Retail, More Supermarkets, SPAR, Spencer’s, Metro Cash & Carry, as well as on online website such as Amazon, Big Basket, Flipkart, Udaan, Swiggy & Dunzo”, said Shriram

In addition to it, he said that the company plans to onboard 1,500 Distributors and reach a total of 100,000 Points of Sales by the end of FY 2022.
