NoBroker Introduces “Guard Talkies” For Apartment Guards

NoBroker, a Bengaluru-based real estate startup, has now introduced new features in their app to help the apartment securities and tenants stay safe in these COVID times.

With the COVID cases increasing day by day, companies are coming up with new and innovative ideas to deal with the rapidly spreading infection and its prevention. Apartments have an increased risk of infections due to a large number of people living in the same buildings closer to each other. The app has improved features like facial recognition, COVID-19 tracker, alert for residents, tracking of live patrolling of guards, and guard talkies where the guards and tenants could communicate without any contact.

“COVID-19 has disrupted lives by affecting daily routines and activities. The features that we have integrated are many firsts in a society app and are aimed at solving pain points of society living. We are leveraging solutions powered by a mix of man and machine such as face masks and touchless entry – to get the best of both worlds,” said Akhil Gupta, Co-founder, and CTO of NoBroker.

The facial recognition feature would help the residents enter the building just by scanning their faces at the security’s cellphones without any contact. They have also associated with the Arogya Setu app to determine the risk status of the visitors and details about their previous visits to other areas. The COVID-19 tracker will help to find whether the drivers or any other workers have visited any containment zones earlier.

Akhil Gupta also said, “We are leveraging solutions powered by a mix of man and machine such as face masks and touchless entry – to get the best of both worlds. With the combination of these measures, we hope to cut down the risk of COVID-19 transmissions across societies.”
