Indian Startup Skillmatics Plans To Grow Further In The US Market
Skillmatics is an educational brand that focuses on bringing new and innovative games for children. The company is now growing towards its net revenue of 60 crores as the year ends and it is also growing at an 18x rate in the US market.
The company was established in 2017 and reached a profitable position in just three years. The company specializes in Edu-teach products that increase the Maths and Science knowledge of the children. The company has sold up to three million products and their price range is very much affordable as it ranges between Rs 300 to Rs 999. They also operate with a large chain of around 3000 stores.
The lockdown has increased the demand for their products and since China is the main manufacturing point of toys and stuff, now people are looking for Indian products due to the current tensions. “We have our manufacturing across 25 factories in India, using small as well as large suppliers After initial shut down in lockdown, we are now aligning production capacity. We are also forced to focus on stretching the supply side, by updating capabilities, bringing in automation and more on the manufacturing level as well as to fulfill the present demand,” said Dhvanil Sheth, founder of Skillmatics.
The company is looking to expand further in the next 6-12 months in the US channels and across all platforms. They maintain a strong base in the Indian Market with an average of 2k orders per day. Now, the company has a 30 Billion market value in the US and Sheth said that with the right product in the market, the profit will grow at a much higher rate.
