Khatabook Salutes The Local Business Owners With Their New Campaign

When the government issued the countrywide lockdown, all our daily lives came to halt. The demand for every product was on the rise and it was the local vendors and suppliers who came to our aid.

Khatabook, an Indian digital ledger company has launched a series of videos saluting the local business owners in their new campaign “Thank You Dhukandar” The videos show normal people carrying on with their duties in this lockdown and the essentials such as milk, medicines, and groceries which they use. The videos also give a picture of how these vendors supply these items with safety measures.

Their uninterrupted service has made our life run smoothly in these tough times. Apart from the frontline workers, such small business owners have also fought the COVID battle along with the public.

During the nationwide lockdown when all the big names were unable to deliver, it was the small shop-owners, sellers, merchants, and SMBs who put themselves in the service of the entire nation.

“We are indebted to these frontline workers for supplying everyday necessities to countless households of India. Their resilience can be seen in the way the number of transactions has increased by 2.5 times in essential categories in the past 3 months. For non-essential, we are now seeing a recovery of 20-30% in the last 3-4 weeks. This initiative is a small attempt to express our heartfelt gratitude to these heroes,” says Ved Prakash, Vice President of Khatabook.
