Racold launches Pronto Dark 5L instant water heater

Racold has launched Pronto Dark 5L, a new addition to its instant water heater portfolio aimed at design-conscious consumers, the company announced on 17 September.

The product combines Italian design with a glossy dark finish and a compact, space-conscious build. Racold said the 5L capacity and fast heating performance are intended for modern urban homes, with the dark finish designed to fit contemporary bathrooms and kitchens.

The company said Pronto Dark includes multiple safety features, including a shock-proof body, a functional thermostat, thermal cut-out and a pressure relief mechanism. Built on what Racold describes as a 12-bolt system, the unit is engineered to withstand water pressure of up to 6.5 bar, which the company said makes it suitable for high-rise residential buildings.

Alongside the launch, Racold released a digital video campaign built around the product’s design-led positioning, moving away from the functional framing typically used for water heaters.

Mohit Narula, Managing Director and Country Manager at Ariston Group India, said consumer appliance choices are increasingly influenced by design and how a product fits into the home, alongside functionality. He said Pronto Dark combines ‘Racold’s Italian design heritage with the evolving needs of Indian consumers’ as part of the company’s broader push to strengthen its premium portfolio in India.

Racold is a water heating brand under Ariston Group.
