Red FM Launches a New Campaign To Promote Plasma Donation
Red FM has launched the “Dilli Deke Dekho” campaign which encourages the Corona recovered patients to donate their plasma to treat the affected patients. The first plasma donation bank is started in New Delhi.
The radio campaign features stories of the recovered patients and how they have donated their plasma for the treatments and also requests other recovered patients to donate their plasma for the cause. The campaign also includes interviews of the Doctors treating the patients. The plasma donation helpline number will be announced in the channel regularly to reach a larger audience.
Delhi’s Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, also provided his full support to this campaign and issued a favorable statement on his social media pages.
Nisha Narayanan, Director & COO, RED FM, and Magic FM, said, “Delhi Government’s Plasma Bank is an excellent initiative to bridge the gap between donors and patients. It is time to motivate people to donate plasma and radio as a medium has a strong reach which can help people get in touch with potential donors. India has a significantly low mortality rate, experts say it can be further lowered if we treat COVID patients with plasma therapy. Red FM wants to give this movement a push by asking people of Delhi to donate plasma through our campaign, ‘Dilli Deke Dekho.”
