]]> In the Hindi GEC Pay-TV category Star Plus is running the show with 960 mn impressions while the 2nd and the 3rd position is being captured by Sony Sab and Colors with 661 mn and 491 mn impressions respectively as per the data released by BARC. The 4th position for the same goes to ZEE TV with 440mn impressions while Star Utsav stands 5th with 426mn impressions. Sony entertainment Television maintains its 6th position with 395mn impressions. For 7th and 8th position channels like Zee Anmol and  Star Bharat came into the picture with around 328mn and 272mn impressions respectively. The remaining last 2 spots went to Sony Pal with 270mn impressions and Dangal with 257mn impressions.

Hindi GEC Rural:

Zee Anmol has been leading the Hindi GEC Rural category this week, which has been followed by Star Utsav with the 2nd spot, Dangal slipped from its position and came down to the 3rd spot while ColorsRishtey and Sony Pal are still maintaining their 4th and 5th spot.
Star Plus along with Big Magic, Sony SAB, ZEE TV, and Colors have secured the last 5 ranks under in this category.

Hindi GEC Urban:

Talking about the urban areas Star Plus has been rated as the number 1 in the  Hindi GEC Urban category and that is followed by Sony SAB on the 2nd spot,  Star Utsav could manage the 3rd spot, while Colors secured its name in the 4th spot,  Sony Entertainment Television could end up with the 5th spot. Zee TV’s ranking came as the 6th, while the last 4 contenders in this category were Zee Anmol, Dangal, Sony Pal and ColorsRishtey

]]> Ready to spice up your life! Good news for television lovers now, Star Plus has made up its mind to bring back original episodes of its popular television shows. The episodes of the popular serials are something that made Star Plus a household name. Keeping that in mind Star Plus decided to bring back episodes from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, and Yeh Hai Chahatein on-air with a brand new storyline.

Increasing the level of Entertainment for viewers the channel has also come up with a new show – Anupamaa.

Star Plus, in addition to this, is also ready to launch movie premieres ensuring good family entertainment on weekends. The channel decides to launch premiers of the super-hit film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior on 26th July, 8 pm, and Disney’s The Lion King on 8th August, 8 pm. After the huge popularity of mythological shows, the channel will continue to air Ramayana and Mahabharata, will at 7.30 pm and 8.30 pm respectively.

“We are happy to have entertained our viewers throughout the lockdown phase and are excited to bring back their favorite shows after more than 100 days. We hope that our engaging mix of romance, drama series and light-hearted content along with movie premieres will continue to entertain our viewers,” said a Star Plus spokesperson.

With fresh stories in the pipeline star plus presents to its viewers, 

  • Kasautii Zindagii Kay [8:00 pm]: Here come the new twists in Anu-Pre’s life with the much-awaited entry of Karan Patel as Mr. Bajaj.
  • Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke [9:00 pm]: Some spine chilling surprising suspense awaiting in which Mishti is embroiled in and Abir is out to protect her at any cost.
  • Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai [9:30 pm]:  On the most watched serial brings the double dhamaka, the comedy of errors between Naira and her double Tina.
  • Anupamaa [10:00 pm]: A piece of the life story of a homemaker who dons multiple hats to keep her family happy.
  • Yeh Hai Chahatein [10:30 pm]: Shows the uncaring Rockstar Rudraksh’s transformation into responsible parenthood.
