 Sony Music India Signs Up Rapper Raftaar; Partners With Kalamkaar

Sony Music India has signed agreements to tie up with Indian Rapper Raftaar and his organization, Kalamkar. This project is aimed to bring out emerging talents to the spotlight.

Kalamkar is an independent organization founded by Raftaar and Ankit Khanna to support young Hip-Hop artists, Rappers, and underground artists.

Raftaar has said that their aim is to discover and launch the next wave of Indian hip-hop talent and this partnership would accelerate this process of making independent music reach every audience. Ankit Khanna, commenting on this partnership said,” We look forward to this new partnership with Sony Music India, which aims to increase the scale and scope of non-film music in India, break independent hip-hop and rap into the mainstream and reinvigorate the listening experiences of music enthusiasts,”
