BATIC 2026 Draws 2,700 Delegates, Telin Signs Multiple MoUs
The Bali Annual Telkom International Conference (BATIC) 2026 was held from 25 to 28 August 2026, bringing together more than 2,700 delegates from over 760 companies across 67 countries, according to a release issued by Telin.
The conference, themed around uniting the ecosystem to drive connected progress, also featured 72 sponsors and exhibitors and more than 4,500 scheduled meetings arranged through the BATIC App, the company said. Sessions across the two conference days covered connectivity, cloud infrastructure and artificial intelligence, with speakers from companies including Telkom Indonesia, Airtel, China Mobile International, Nokia, Google, Orange and iBASIS, among others.
Dian Siswarini, President Director of Telkom Indonesia, delivered the opening keynote on digital infrastructure and growth. A ministerial keynote was delivered by Edwin Hidayat Abdullah, Director General of Digital Ecosystems at Indonesia’s Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, on the country’s digital policy direction.
The event also featured side events including workshops and forums held across multiple venues from 24 to 27 August 2026, organised with partners such as Mplify, GLF, YTC, i3Forum and TM Forum.
According to the release, Telin signed several strategic partnership agreements during the conference, including a letter of intent with PEACE on cable expansion, an Open API and Open Digital Architecture manifesto with TM Forum, a memorandum of understanding with SM+, an MoU with GTI on fibre pair project capacity, and an MoU with Mitratel concerning asset transactions in Timor-Leste.
Abdul Rahman Ansyori, Chief Executive Officer of Telin, said, “BATIC is a platform where the digital ecosystem comes together.”
The release noted that the conference took place following an earthquake in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, and that BATIC 2026 will contribute USD 10,000 raised from registration and sponsorship proceeds toward recovery efforts for affected communities.
Telin, founded in 2007, describes itself as a global digital enabler with presence across 15 locations including Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong and the United States, and infrastructure spanning more than 429,167 kilometers of submarine cable systems, per the company.
