 Heineken Launches Back to Bars

The show must go on, promoting this belief Heineken has rolled out a new campaign  #SocialiseResponsibly with the aim to reopen the Hotels, Restaurants, and cafes around the world, keeping the concept of consumer safety intact. The campaign has been conceptualized by Publicis Italy and is specially designed for Heineken. The ad film shows how people can continue with their night out at bars following all the safety norms like socializing via air hugs, elbow bumps, and 1.5m cheers.

Sharing the thoughts about the campaign, Bram Westenbrink, Senior Director Global, Heineken Brand says, “We were inspired by real-life experiences that everyone can relate to. Whilst the new bar experience can be awkward and may take time getting used to for customers and bar staff, we wanted to celebrate their return and remind people that respecting the new rules is important. After all, there’s one thing better than the first night out, another night out.”

The heart of the campaign is all about ‘socialize responsibly to keep the bars open’. The ad film is released in various periodic versions like  60 seconds, 30 seconds and 15 seconds along with digital, social assets and multiple trade initiatives to set a continuous reminder for consumers about social distancing as it is more likely for people to forget the social distancing norms when they are in a mood to enjoy themselves. The campaign has been rolled out in multiple countries.
