Nielson Reports Analysis On The Bounce-back Of FMGC Products
Due to this COVID-19 pandemic, various products have lost their demand and supply. But essentials like FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) were consistently sought by the consumers in this lockdown times. And now their revenue has bounced back to normalcy as per the reports.
The reports give analyzed data on different categories of goods and their recovery in this month. Since people are opting for home-cooked foods due to high hygiene concerns regarding hotel foods, the demand for flours and edible oils has grown up. Groceries have also seen a rise in their demand due to this.
Soaps and hygiene products have also bounced back to normalcy as they occupy a prominent place in our daily needs. Beauty products like hair colors, skin care, and Deodorants which have seen a significant downfall during lockdown has bounced back in June. Home care products like washing powders and Detergents have also witnessed the same situation.
Apart from this, the survey which was conducted over 22 cities, with 1700 participants around June 19 to June 25 showed that as the people are uncertain about their future, most of them are investing their time and savings in education, fitness, and mental health.
People are slowly adapting themselves to this new normal by being more cautious of their surroundings and preferring contactless deliveries and purchases of groceries and food from online service platforms.
