Nippon Paint India Enters Industrial Paints Segment With ‘Protec’

A new range of industrial paints is launched by Nippon Paint India under the ‘Protec’ brand. In the industrial coatings segment, Nippon Paint India is now expanding its presence. Nippon Paint is the No. 1 paint manufacturer in Asia, and one of the top paint manufacturers of the world. Nippon Paint India is part of the NIPSEA Group which along with Nippon Paint of Japan, forms the largest coatings group in the Asia Pacific and the 4th largest in the world in terms of revenue. The range of product Protec brands include Primers, Top Coats, and Specialized Coating Products. The Protec brand is expected to add Rs. 50 crores to its top line in the next 2-3 years. The company has started the venture with 50 industrial dealers and will add more partners by the end of this year. A vast range of paint and consumable products for OEMs, OE affiliates, bus bodybuilders, and industrial users are provided by Nippon Paint’s Commercial Vehicle and Light Industrial coating business.
