 Parle-G Emphasizes On ‘Genius Minds’ Through Vidya Balan’s Movie ‘Shakuntala Devi’

India’s leading biscuits and confectionery manufacturer, Parle has inked a partnership with the movie ‘Shankunatala Devi’. The partnership came before the public with the launch of a video featuring both the brands on Amazon Prime Video, which will be running across all OTT and digital platforms. The video features the lead actress Vidya Balan, relating the genius mind of Shakuntala Devi with that of Parle G. The visuals in the video have put much emphasis on how Parle G as a brand has contributed to nurturing Genius Minds. 

The brand tries to spread the message ‘G Maane Genius and Genius yaani Shankutala Devi’ which emphasizes the partnership of the movie with the brand. The co-branded video gives a glimpse of the movie bringing forward the journey of the genius lady right from her childhood days till to the point she went on to become famous as the ‘human computer’ and her life thereafter. The movie will run on  Amazon Prime Video and will reach its audiences on July 31st. The film is a biopic of the famous mathematician who followed her own conditions to live her life. It is a tribute to the mathematical wizard and also to a woman who although being a genius has hand in hand played the role of a woman and a mother. The film is captured from the point of view of Anu who plays the role of a daughter in the film, the movie in itself has very successfully thrown light on the struggles and aspirations which both of them had to go through, and at the same time very brilliantly focussed on Vidya Balan’s charm and brilliance on the screen. The film will be released on July 31st and the trailer itself claims that the film will be a perfect family treat for the audience.
