Parle, The Most Chosen Brand Of The Nation
The worldpanel division of Kantar in their eight division of Brand Footprint has announced that Parle is the most chosen brand among the consumers in 2020. It has scored the highest CRP (millions) of 6,099.
Kantar is the world’s leading evidence-based insights and consulting company and in their annual report, Parle has secured the position of the most chosen brand.
The product of the number of households in the country, the percentage of those households buying a brand, and the number of times it is bought by them in a year across categories are known as CPR. Clinic Plus, Brittania, and Ghari hold consecutive places after Parle. Apart from this, other leading brands such as Dabur, Patanjali, Brooke Bond, Sunfeast has also joined the Billion CPR club this year.
Other brands like Colgate and Surf Excel has also made significant growth. Colgate is considered as the highest penetrated brand at 88 percent and a 20 percent consistent CRP growth rate with 1,566 million is recorded with Surf Excel.
Food Brands including Ashirvad has also shown a sudden penetration growth rate of 4 percent and CPR growth of 55 percent. In personal care products, Dabur has a 34 percent CPR growth, with a 70 percent penetration rate it has become the fifth most chosen heath brand in India.
