Push Notifications Offer Better ROI
A survey conducted by Digital Commerce 260 says that companies gain more income from push notifications rather than Emails.
The study collected reports from around 300 businesses and their practice. It is found that 72% of businesses gain income from web and mobile push notifications. They gain 44% more income when compared to E-mail marketing. In this survey, around 24.3% of retailers have mobile apps and 50% of them only use push notification.
OneSignal, an email, and push notification based marketing network found that 82% of the companies earn more income from push notifications and this has led to an increase in the number of active users as per the reports of April and May.
“We’ve been prioritizing engineering and marketing resources towards coming up with more relevant and interactive text messages for our customers,” says Matthew Berk, CEO of Bean Box, a coffee subscription retailer. He also said that this technique helps them sell more when compared to other conventional marketing strategies.
Apparel and Fashion industries also follow this technique and have received a great response. They also aim to create personalized relationships with their customers through this method. 36% say that text messages have helped them to improve business whereas 26% are in favor of mobile-based push notifications.
