Vedantu is an online tutoring and educational platform offering tuitions and tutorial videos for students from preliminary stages to high school. It also conducts online coaching classes for various competitive exams like NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) and JEE (Joint Entrance Exam)

In the Series D round led by Coatue, US-based investment firm, Vedantu has raised 100 Million USD and has become the second most valued edtech startup after Byju’s with 10.5 Billion USD.

Vedantu was founded by a Vamsi Krishna, Anand Krishna, and Pulkit Jain and they claim to be India’s first online teaching platform.”Vedantu has always believed in the concept of LIVE interactive classes being a superior format for online learning which creates greater learning outcomes. Since the lockdown, the online educational platforms have seen tremendous growth in their business and user base. Vedantu has around 1 million students in their online classes and around 25 million users accessing their YouTube videos and contents.

With the latest funding, Vedantu’s total funding till date stands at USD 200 million.
